Wrested from the steep schist + limestone soils of the Rorick Vineyard in Calaveras County, this Chenin blanc was hand picked and foot tread prior to pressing. This Rare Creature underwent a long, slow fermentation which adds to it's underlying depth of lanolin + honeycomb. Growing Chenin on limestone soils has turned out Loire-esque wine with heaps of acid + a salty minerality
