The clay in the soil of the Fourchaume Premier Cru vineyard is more prevalent than in the other First Growths at this Domaine, so this vineyard is always among the earliest to ripen. Contains an edge of warmth with a lemony, minty and floral nose. The smooth palate is lush with roundness, texture and finesse, suggesting mellow apple with lemon brightness. It has gorgeous depth and a crisp lingering finish.
