Clos de la Grand'Cour is the monopole vineyard surrounding the domaine that was purchased by Jean-Louis's father when he moved to Fleurie in 1969. From a granite terroir at 300m altitude.
Light garnet in the glass with complex aromas of dusty earth, red fruit and black pepper leading into tart raspberries, blackberries, savory herbs, & hints of cedar and nutmeg. Tannins are smooth and they last into the very long finish.
