This is the much-sought-after flagship rye from a team recently named craft distiller of the year. The nose reveals a wonderful balance of dried fruit and baking spices along with complex wood notes. The palate is relatively mild for a 100% rye, but there is still plenty of cinnamon, clove, pepper, toffee, book-leather and fresh-cut oak. This is a nice new rye to try.
