This is an entry into the bourbon field from a pioneering distiller of single-malt scotches and other spirits. The distiller blended five straight bourbon whiskeys to create a whiskey that brings in notes from each of those. The result is a dram that is lighter and less wood-laden, and one that will be a smooth, easy sipper. To us it seemed like a bargain at this price.
