Wine Description | The Mambourg hillside is the earliest to ripen and its reputation dates back to the Middle Ages, when it belonged to the monasteries and feudal lords that made it noble. The particular geology of the hillside, deriving from Oligocene limestone of the Quaternary age, makes Mambourg unique, with consistent tannic power and a suave roundness. The wine is always perfectly dry, and is sometimes exaggeratedly powerful and extremely complex. |
