Hogback aims to use Scottish whisky-making methods in their distilling, including use of a pot still, and they make every whiskey with water from Colorado's Eldorado Springs. The result is a deliciously rich yet soft and mellow spirit. An initial lush butterscotch taste is complemented by spiced fruit and malty biscuit followed by a wave of nutmeg spice.
