This Scotch was made entirely on Islay, with the ambition to make the ultimate “Islay” Islay whisky. On the nose, time has brought a balance, a harmony in the combination of oak, smoke and spirit. The palate is delicate and soft, mingling smoke and sweetness, with coconut, vanilla custard, lemon honey, smoked oysters and salty sand. The finish is layered and sublime.
