This bourbon started out as an experiment with just three barrels on an ocean ship, in an effort to discover what would happen if bourbon was left to weather extreme temperature fluctuations, salt air and the gentle rocking of the ship. The result was a thick, dark bourbon with complex flavors that bring to mind dark rum and briny scotch. But this is a true bourbon after all.
