This skin contact Chardonnay hails from the birthplace of Orange wine (the 'proto-orange'!). Grape clusters, hand harvested from Terpin's oldest vineyards, are de-stemmed, macerated for 8 days in Slavonian wood barrels, then the juice is aged for a year in barriques, a year in stainless steel, and finally a year in bottle (and can continue to age).
