The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume is performing very well indeed in bottle, wafting from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, crisp Anjou pear, lemon curd, wheat toast, oyster shell and acacia flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with excellent concentration, lively acids and a delicately fragrant finish.
