Fermented naturally from 20% whole cluster fruit in small open-top bins. The wine was aged for a total of 19 months in neutral French oak barrels. Blaufränkisch is like Pinot Noir's goth cousin, deeper, darker with more sanguine iron minerality, yet still with prettiness and nervy acidity that make for a fine pairing with everything from cedar-plank salmon to kielbasa!
