This is a high, more easterly-facing vineyard in the northern corner of the appellation, bordering St Aubin. Caroline has 0.59 hectares, in two parcels of old vines, bought in 1997 and 2004. It’s smoky and creamy on the nose, with a palate of viscous fruit and lifted acidity. The finish knits well, with floral notes starting to appear. Drink 2024-2032.
