This wine is made from 100% Piculit Neri, a heritage varietal uncovered on 11 acres of vineyards in Friuli. This grape was found to make quality wines dating back to the Renaissance period. This wine is an herbaceous, bright, sauvage wine has hints of smoke and spice; it resolves to forest fruits, medium (+) tannin, and a true expression of a beautiful past. Lovely indeed.
