Zorrito, The Little Fox, is an impressive, organic, natural Chardonnay from Mendoza fermented on the skins for 45 days. Unfiltered, vegan, and made with minimal intervention, it checks all the boxes for a "natural" wine while maintaining clean flavors and refreshing acidity. Apricot, lemon, orange peel, and a distinct floral blossom note.

Its name, Mi Terruño, meaning “my terroir”, encapsulates their philosophy of producing wines that capture the characteristics of the grapes and the unique expression of Mendoza’s terroir. All of the grapes are hand-picked at the estate and undergo a second hand selection to ensure only the finest fruit is used in their blends.

Colorado Owned, Argentina Grown! Deep red laced with violet overlays. An elegant and complex style where notes of plum, raspberry, violets, and vanilla invade the nose. The wine is balanced and concentrated with well-rounded tannins which emphasize its personality. A long and smooth finish.

This is a co-fermented blend of mostly Viognier with Marsanne and Pedro Ximenez. About 10% of the blend is matured in oak under a veil of flor. One of the most impressive Nebbiolos I've encountered outside of Piamonte.

Sourced from Altamira in the La Consulta region of the Uco Valley. This single vineyard Malbec is aged for 12 months. 20% is aged in new French oak barrels, 60% in 2nd and 3rd use French and American oak, and 20% unoaked. A beautiful red and purple color with aromas of black cherries, dark fruits, dark chocolate and baker’s spice.

It is well known by scientists and ancient growers the influence the moon has in life, in all the events in which gravity and liquids are involved. Grape growing practices and winemaking are also induced by it, especially when it is full. The grapes for our Luna Llena Gran Malbec were harvested during a full moon night to make the most of this influence.

Viña Única Chardonnay was made with grapes from our vineyard, located in the exceptional Gualtallary area in the heart of the Uco Valley. It ferments in French oak barrels, with native yeasts then ages in the same barrels resulting in a fresh, vertical and long wine, with low impact of wood.

A bold, distinguished wine in a dark red hue, Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon's enticing bouquet of blackberry and black pepper unfolds accross the palate, lingering with a medium finish and a hint of spice, which pairs beautifully with red meats and flavorful sauces. Aged for 8 months in small, second-use French and American oak barrels and then bottle-age.

This blend of 50% Malbec and 50% Pinot Noir is all hand harvested from a single vineyard in Gualtallary. The wine sees some carbonic maceration and has a huge vibrant nose of red fruit, violets, and caramel apple. Good acid lifts the mid-palate with notes of rhubarb, red cherry, orange peel, ash, crushed stone, mushroom, gunpowder, and flint. Fresh and bright. 1,400 cases made.

The gently pressed juice contacts the skins only for a few hours for color and aroma and is immediately sent to steel tanks where it undergoes fermentation for about twelve days (no oak). In the glass it is a light salmon color and on the nose there are pleasant aromas of red berries and white flower. The wine is crisp, complex with a lingering finish.

This is Malbec and Syrah in their most natural expression of untouched grapes shining through and capturing the true essence of the biodynamic vineyard where they were picked. The nose is beautiful, very floral, with perfectly integrated oak adding only spiciness. The palate is seamless, with fine tannins, very pure, with great acidity. Long and supple, it ends with mineral, almost salty flavors. At this price this Malbec is a real bargain.

While most of the Cabernet Sauvignon in Mendoza is planted in the High Mendoza River region, this comes from the Valle de Uco region. The cooler climate enables Luminis to achieve grapes with good acidity, proper maturity and great expression of fruit. Only about 5% of the wine goes through new French oak for 12 months. This is an elegant, lighter style Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cristian Allamand is one of those few winemakers making wines with a different personality, a sense of place, wines that are respectful of their origin. The youthful and aromatic 2016 Malbec has an alcohol level that is one degree lower than the 2015, as the grapes where harvested earlier.
