A lighter wine, this rare beauty is produced from grapes grown in old “Maggiorina” vineyards. These 100 year old vines were non-commercial family plots until recently (obtained with the condition that the original plantings continue to flourish as-is). Mostly planted with Nebbiolo and Croatina there are up to a dozen different grapes including some white and aromatic grapes for a real field blend. Dried cherries and rose petals backed by pepper and leather.

The bottling of sustainably-farmed Falanghina was sourced from volcanic soils of the Alois Estate vineyards, within the Campania IGT. Once ripened, the grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel to preserve this freshness. The fermentation process takes place on the lees for 30 days followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

For Ancho Reyes Verde, the chiles are picked while still green in color and then fire-roasted for a few hours. The chiles are then slices and pureed to prepare for the 6 month maceration. Each bottle of Ancho Reyes liqueur is then hand labeled and bottled, one by one. Excellent for preparing delicious and vibrant spicy and aromatic tequila, gin, and vodka cocktails.
