Vernaccia di San Gimignano is the great white wine of Tuscany, if not all of Italy. Vernaccia is said to be the red of white wines: the grapes may not yield highly fruited bouquets, but the wines are vigorous and long-lived. This is a mineral wine of great power and structure that will display excellent aging, its bouquet gaining interesting secondary aromas over time.

An amazing find—single vineyard Muscadet with some age! Citric/stoney/briny gives way to rich/round/leesy. This wine comes from a single parcel of the same name. The Luneau family are pioneers in this regard and still amongst the only producers in Muscadet to bottle single vineyard expressions of their land. They've been doing it since the 80's.

This wine is matured in amphorae, allowing the grape to express its terroir to the full: on tasting, the wine presents a bouquet of red berries, with attractive floral notes (peony and rose). Direct, clear and natural, it reveals a remarkable purity and is elegant and refreshing. It is a wine to drink with a meal, but it's also nimble enough to go on its own as an apéritif

Aromas of chocolate cherries in tilled soil leads to a plethora of savory and bold notes. Cigar box, root beer, and black plum make for a concentrated, muscle-driven pinot noir. Its earthy nature is tempered by ripe black cherry and sandalwood, emphasizing a silky mouthfeel.

The organic grapes are hand-harvested late August and destemmed. Spontaneous fermentation, in stainless steel tank. Fermentation finishes in the bottle and the wine ages for6 months in bottle, giving a lightly sparkling Petillant Naturel style. The wine is not disgorged so there will be sediment and tartrates in the bottle. This is literally sunshine in a bottle.

honey and tropical fruit flavors while lending notes of citrus, pears, peaches, and white flowers with a strong minerality and a delicated note of vanilla. The mouthfeel is clean, with a fresh, clean acidity.

Deep ruby with purple hues. On the nose, the wine is delicate with notes of cherry, vanilla, raw beef and herbs. On the palate, it is dry, structured and elegant with flavors of plum, ripe cherries, wild berries and a hint of spice, followed by a lengthy and smooth finish.

Ruby red colour with mineral and vanilla notes. Medium-bodied, dry wine with a crisp acidity (perfect for the whole meal) and soft tannins. This Barbera is very well balanced, with a good complexity and a red cherry finish.

This Carmenère has a deep ruby red color with violet hues. Aromatics are fresh and intense with notes of ripe dark berry fruits, black pepper and spices. The palate has a soft texture with ripe tannins, balancing acidity and a fresh fruit core with a lingering finish.

Plenty of menthol, blackberry and blackcurrant aromas in this elegant, medium-weight Haut-Médoc that’s got as much freshness as ripeness and a long, clean, mineral and herbal finish. An incredibly food-flexible wine!

This is an impressive second wine. It shows a lot of vibrant red berries, blackberries and darker plum fruits. The palate is impressive for the vibrant and lively acidity cast amid sturdy but supple tannins. Second wine from Pichon-Lalande.
