100+ year old Grenache bush vines and younger Cinsualt plantings, biodynamically grown and fermented with native yeast and minmal sulfur in stainless steel. All the bright strawberry fruit of Grenache is here but with a body more commonly associated with something like a Pinot Noir. Light, bright and refreshing, a slight chill on this red would be delicious!

This historic estate of a Roman Prince has been combining French and Italian varietals for over half a century and is credited with inspiring the Super Tuscan movement in wine. This unctuous white hits many of the same notes as great Condrieu from the Rhone with tropical fruit and baked apple and hints of white flowers. Enjoy with carbonara or butter poached fish!

The newest limited addition to the Forthave lineup. “TWO” is four years in the making, inspired by a visit to a foraging-focused restaurant in the Catskills after being presented with freshly foraged “Chaga,” a Northern hemishpere mycelium. 
“TWO” is a spicy, earthy, and citrusy masterclass of Amaro, comprised of mostly chaga along with 40 other botanicals.

Though he has bottled Trousseau under his “Les Dos d’Chat” négociant label project, this is winemaker Fabrice Dodane's first ever bottling under the estate label. Textbook Trousseau, the workhorse of the Jura! Light bodied, herbaceous, mineral, mysterious.

“Les Corvées” is winemaker Fabrice Dodane’s take on a classic Jura-blend, highlighting the finesse and structural capabilities of Pinot Noir with the brightness and earthiness of Ploussard. This wine is stunning, it’s laden with bright red fruits, wet forest floor, and spice. In addition, the grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard site.

Marco Sferlazzo spent much of his life as a pharmacist in his home town of Camporeal before coming into winemaking. He originally purchased the wines for Porta del Vento from a larger company, who was planning on tearing up vines of Cataratto and Perricone in order to plant different, more well-recognized varietals.

Voria Rosso is a sparkling red of Perricone.

Blackberry, Rosemary, Winter mint. A richer, more classic expression of Nîmes, featuring predominantly Grenache and Syrah, with a splash of Carignan. The grapes come from a collection of plots that are selected for their aromatic qualities. Gentle pressing, shorter macerations, and aged until the following March in concrete.

Here for a good time & a long time - Yamada Shoten has brewed sake since 1868 & is one of Japan's smallest kuras. Savory & rustic style with smoky, nutty aromas that transition to flavors of fig, orange, muscat & clove spice. Pair with miso-glazed salmon, mushroom dishes & charred meats or veggies. Serve room temp.

Red fruit aromatics: cherries, strawberries, a hint of quince, woodsmoke, spices, with the overlay of fresh violets. The palate to the wine is bright, full, and tangy. It has a pretty core of fruit, good soil signature, ripe, moderate tannins, and bouncy acid. Voillot is a top tier producer; for 2019, this is declassified Volnay, and it shows it's elegance and depth. Lovely!

Casas de Enriba comes from Laura Lorenzo' 20-year-old vineyard lying on the steep slopes of the Xares Rivertwo; south-facing parcels of young Mencía on granite with a mix of gravel, clay, gneiss, quartz, etc. The certified biodynamic wine is floral and mineral, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity.
