A highly aromatic Gruner with some skin contact. Barrel fermented and aged surlie this wine has soon lovely floral and white pepper notes as well as a luscious creamy texture. Truly unique!

Translating to ‘many pips’, Grignolino grapes have large berries, thin skin, and a light color, making a delightful medium-bodied red wine. The scent of fresh strawberries in the glass is followed by a lively mix of red fruits on the palate. Soaring acidity is sculpted with delicate tannins and a nip of white pepper adds an assertive note to the finish.

From the winemaker: Like a neon tractor beam jetting out of the Trinity Alps, our third vintage of the 'Arcana' Savagnin has both exceeded my expectations and my comprehension. Rocky and electric, with a tropical punch and a heady herbal tea perfume, if you feel like you've experienced a case of missing time, that means it's working. The owls are not what they seem.

From the winemaker: Sylvan' is dank on the nose like marijuana gummy bears, juicy and alive on the palate, and rounded out with a subtle hint of dried mushrooms, duck fat and cranberry sauce (in a good way). Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Jean-Charles Girard-Madoux’s vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Massif des Bauges, Southeast of Chambéry in Savoie. The Jacquère is exactly what you’d expect from the high-alpine white: low in alcohol with crisp acidity and nuanced aromatics. Perfect with fondue!

The white, brisk in its youth, animated by a bouquet of pine-resin, evolves slowly into a sensual masterpiece with its lingering finish built on a mass of minerality. This is a remarkably age-worthy wine with the potential to give ever-more pleasure over a span two decades or more.

Vinification with soft pressing; fermentation maceration on the skins for 8 hours, fermentation at a controlled temperature to enhance the characteristics of the vine. 5 months in steel on yeasts, 2 months of aging in bottle. Fine and elegant, it recalls aromas of white peach and pear, light hints of apricot, hazelnut.

A blend of equal parts Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc, a common combination for the white wines of the region, and here made into an orange wine via a week of maceration on the skins. Aromatics of orange blossom and tropical jackfruit with moderately tannic dried citrus peels, tea and preserved apricots on the yeasty and textured plate.

‘Efflorescence’ is a barrel fermented vintage cuvee made from grapes from the bottom of the hill, which Dominique believes results in greater power and aging potential. Zero dosage.

Dominique Moreau created the estate in 2005 with a vision to produce a series of single-vineyard, single-variety, single-vintage Champagnes from Biodynamically-grown grapes that are farmed and elaborated with meticulous care.

The wine as a crystal-clear appearance tinged with pink mother-of-pearl. The captivating first nose is suggestive of grapefruit and vanilla. It then opens up with a lovely lemony and mineral freshness and an explosion of citrus and exotic fruit aromas. The wine is silky, luscious and tangy, then becomes fuller, fatter and rounder with hints of mango and passion fruit.

This wine is made from 100% Piculit Neri, a heritage varietal uncovered on 11 acres of vineyards in Friuli. This grape was found to make quality wines dating back to the Renaissance period. This wine is an herbaceous, bright, sauvage wine has hints of smoke and spice; it resolves to forest fruits, medium (+) tannin, and a true expression of a beautiful past. Lovely indeed.
