Knob Creek introduced their rye in 2012. It has a nose of caramel, ginger and menthol, and a rich palate with rye spiciness, with more development of the vanilla, brown sugar and soft butter notes. Drying oak, white pepper and rye spice last on the finish. This is a nicely balanced rye that works great in cocktails and is also great neat.
