This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from our ungrafted vineyard in contrada Zottorinoto, more specific in the section Chiusa Spagnola, situated lower in the valley floor, a bit hidden in an amphytheater, surrounded by lava. A unique vineyard, planted around 1925 at a lower altitude (620m. asl) producing a profound, tannic wine, a bit more Nebbiolo-ish compared to other crus.

A rich and fragrant wine of pure Nerello Mascalese from different vineyards, partly from our best parcels where we produce our crus (Zottorinoto-Chiusa Spagnolo, Feudo di Mezzo-Porcaria, Pontale Palino) as well as designated vineyards for this specific wine (Rampante, Piano Daini and Crasà). A classic, traditional Nerello Mascalese with tannins and sweetness of ripe fruit.

Behind the maturity hides an very energetic wine. A blend of 100% Malbec grapes harvested by hand from vineyards in Gualtallary area of Tupungato. Its geological condition makes it a unique terroir in Argentina. The combination of a cool climate, high altitude and pure limestone soil provides a balanced pH and acidity that are optimal when the grapes reach their maturation.

The 2017 Román is a gorgeous, Zinfandel-based blend from Marietta that offers sweet floral notes and bright, red-toned berry flavors. Medium-bodied and refreshing, the 2017 is delicious, fun and easy to drink.

The 2019 Armé Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium ruby-purple color and layered aromas of red and black currants, violet, iron, underbrush and mushrooms. The medium-bodied palate is pleasantly rustic and a touch chewy, with bright acidity, pretty floral perfume and an earth-laced finish.

From one of the village's finest sites comes the 2017 Rully 1er Cru Les Margotés, a lovely wine that unwinds to reveal notions of pear, orange rind and almond paste. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and inciive, it's elegant and chalky, with a penetrating, mineral finish. This is well worth seeking out, and it will evidently be a bottling to follow particularly attentively.

Pale straw yellow-green, this wine offers a fine and delicate nose with fruity notes of peach, melon and pink grapefruit, as well as hints of anise and flowers. On the palate, it is very balanced, with a long fruity finish.
