Fermented in vat with the extraction obtained by foot pressing. The goal is to preserve the delicate nature of the grapes and obtain a purity of expression. With bags of red fruit this wine is showing lots of character in youth and some development with sweet tobacco notes and baking spices coming from oak contact. The tannins are well integrated with refreshing acidity.

Only indigenous varietals are allowed to be grown in Bairrada. This Bical comes from 20-year old vines planted on .15 hectares of sandy soil in the Amoreira da Gândara vineyard. Its exceptional maritime influence is evident in the stoney minerality, zesty lemon peel and wild herbs finished with mouth watering acidity. A perfect pairing for white fish or a cheeseboard!
