A hidden gem from Drake Whitcraft. 100% "de-classified" fruit from Sta. Rita Hills Ranch Vineyard at a great price. The usual "Drake treatment": 100% whole cluster, foot trodden, unflitered, unfined and raised in used barrel.

Aromas of vanilla infused strawberry jam lead to hints of cocoa powder fill the nose with flavors of strawberry, pomegranate, cranberry, raspberry and hibiscus on the palate. Lightly toasted oak gradually emerges leading to a structured and lingering finish.

This blend of 50% Malbec and 50% Pinot Noir is all hand harvested from a single vineyard in Gualtallary. The wine sees some carbonic maceration and has a huge vibrant nose of red fruit, violets, and caramel apple. Good acid lifts the mid-palate with notes of rhubarb, red cherry, orange peel, ash, crushed stone, mushroom, gunpowder, and flint. Fresh and bright. 1,400 cases made.

Fruit forward wine with intense Blackberry aromatics, and a refined oak profile. Full bodied wine with soft approachable tannins. Lingering berry fruit flavors round out the finish, with good weight.

60% American Oak, 40% French Oak (aged 8 months)

The Pinot Gris portion of this blend supplies the energy, while the Pinot Blanc delivers minerality and depth. A wonderfully versatile wine that is light and refreshing (making it a great choice to drink alone as an apertif), but has enough body and intensity to pair well with food. Aromas of salty, mineral with zesty citrus join a lovely rich texture on the palate.

Strong Salinas Valley winds, help to support, this true-to-varietal Albariño. Lively and bright aromatics fill the nose, lemon/ lime, followed by stone fruit, white peach, minerality on the palate, tying it all together, racy acidity. The briny, salty, savoriness continues in the enduring finish.

The wine is a tribute to six generations of strong, loving women from Lilly Anheuser in 1844, to our beautiful granddaughter. Winemaker Angela Osborne calls this year's Lilly "plumeria blossoms on a beach blanket". This is one of the most fragrant wines we have ever produced.

Kimmeridgien soil is a very unique soil type found in the grape growing areas of Loire Valley, Champagne and at the core of the Chablis wine region. On the nose, aromas of citrus and orange blossom.
