Old Vine Red is a proprietary red wine made to replicate the field blends of many of the old vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Predominantly comprised of Zinfandel, Old Vine Red combines pure fruit, a supple mouth feel and a rich, solid structure. With a historic underground following, it is one of the longest lasting and best known red blends produced today.

Elegant, fresh, and mineral-laden, the De Conciliis NV Selim Spumante Brut is a rare Campanian sparkler. Bursting with tropical and orchard fruits, the Selim dances across the palate with saline minerality and citrus zest. Grown in mineral-rich clay soils, the Selim is intense, unusual, and beautifully balanced; a fitting tribute to its namesake, Miles Davis.

The wine was fermented using natural yeasts, then aged for 12 months in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation was blocked, and the wine is bottled after a light filtration. Particularly fruity and floral, very intense, with hints of dried apricot, magnolia, pineapple, and roasted hazelnuts. Clean, persistent, fresh with an overall pleasant taste.

Unlike some Rosé’s that have that strawberry fruit forward taste, this one does have red fruit character but it’s layered with a floral, salty and spicy quality. his Rosé isn’t that bright pink color like we’ve been seeing in other Rose’s. This one has an orange-pinkish hue. It’s interesting, not in a Yoko Ono-odd kind of way. But it’s mildly complex and delicious!

The grapes are picked into crates and, if necessary, are at once refrigerated, then selected by hand; after destalking, they ferment in wooden vats and in stainless steel vats, they remain on the skins for 14 days, with a mixing and two manual stirrings each day, decanted with the help of the vertical press and the wine obtained thus matures in wooden and stainless steel

In the southern Catalan region of Terra Alta, a "Fou" is a ravine. Those geographical features are characteristic of the region. That's the origin of the Celler La Fou winery's name. The interesting Lafou Els Amelers is made solely from a grape variety which is also highly characteristic of that region, namely White Grenache.

Black garnet color. Aromas of cocoa dusted dried cherries, mixed peppercorns, chocolate taffy, ivory, and paprika with a satiny, crisp, dryish light-to-medium body and a medium-length cherry stone finish with light oak. A nice, not-too-oaky Bonarda that will be very versatile at the table. Shows minerally and peppery accents to the crushed red fruit flavors.

From 60+ year old vines on granitic shale. Organic farming. Cold carbonic maceration between 10-12°C for 20-25 days. Native yeast, with no sulfur added. 100% concrete tanks. Bottled unfiltered by gravity following the lunar calendar. This wine is fresh and juicy with a little spice.

Asturias is intensely defined by monastic tradition, unique grape varieties (red verdejo, carrasquín, albarin…) and prefiloxeric vineyards. This winemaker has an intense personality, plus a willingness to produce the kind of wines he loves refined, aromatic and pure. He has accomplished in Asturias how to respect the symbioses between the soil, the climate and the local grapes

Roberto Olivan's Xerico is yet another example of modern day Rioja looking back to its roots, producing something wholly original and delicious in the process. Fermented and aged in a combination of concrete and chestnut foudre for five months, this red shows savory dark fruits, a somewhat farmy though fresh aromatic profile.

A highly seductive crisp and complex blend of mostly Grüner Veltliner and some Chardonnay. Seemingly simple ingredients and techniques produce wines that are a far cry from stereotypical fruit forward expressions. His Hausmarke ("House Wine") comes across as the quintessential understatement: a highly complex and satisfying white, fresh and lively with notes of citrus & fennel.

Entirely hand-harvested. Whole clusters are gently pressed. Following natural alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, a second fermentation is done in bottle to produce CO2; méthode champenoise. Aged 24 months on hand-riddled slats.

The wine is deep, clear glossy red with purplish shades. On the nose it is complex, intense, spicy, with evolving aromas thanks to the oxygen exposure. In the mouth the wine is dry, warm, fresh, quite tannic and savoury. This is a balanced well-structured wine, intense and persistent in taste. Aged in American oak barrels for 42 months.
