The 2016 vintage shows aromas of ripe red fruit notes. The palate is well-balanced, succulent and pleasing, with polished tannins and a long, harmonious finish. A beautiful partner to grilled meat and fish.

Aromas of blackberry, cherry, leather, and tobacco with ­flavors of red cherry, raspberry, and boysenberry. Subtle hints of espresso and cocoa nib underpin notes of exotic spice and toast. The fine tannins are balanced acidity drive a long finish.

The aromas are thoroughly enchanting, with notes of peach, clarified butter, candle wax, mineral, chamomile and lemon rind. It's full bodied and textured, full of stone-fruit flavors with a tropical-fruit-filled finish.

Syrah (71%) makes up the backbone of this wine along with Cabernet Sauvignon (17%) and other Rhône varieties. An appealing pale-salmon color, this wine has bright watermelon, strawberry, kiwi and cherry candy aromas that lead to a tart pink-grapefruit flavor and mouthwatering acidity.

Notes of ripe blackberries, currents, warm earth, ground black pepper and dried savory herbs with some oaky tones can be found on both the nose and the palate. It’s full bodied and generously fruited, wound with a dusty thread of earthy tannins and a herbal finish.

Based in the heart of the town of Sancerre. La Moussière is a large parcel of vines planted on marls overlaying Kimmeridgian limestone to the west of the town. In the tradition of Cabernet sauvignon, ours includes a small amount of Merlot, Cabernet franc and Petit verdot, and is blended from six vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. The three AVAs are Coombsville for structure and black fruit, Rutherford for savory Cabernet characters, and Oak Knoll for bright fruit. It is a Napa Cab of the old school, a blended wine, age-worthy.

Don't be afraid of cloudy wine! Properly made, this is some of the most natural wine on the planet. The wine has a pleasant hint of peach and lychee that leave a fresh citrus fruit scent of grapefruit. A pleasant sour note reminiscent of yellow apple in the mouth.

Very light on the nose at first, the refreshing bottling offers subtle aromas of springtime flowers and delicate grass, proving quite appealing and even sexy. The subtleties continue on the palate, where rounded Asian pear flesh meets with a honeysuckle sweetness.
