Natural wine made from 100% Chiavennasca (local name for Nebbiolo) grapes grown organically in Valtellina, Lombardy, Northern Italy. Spontaneous fermentation, unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites. Medium body rosato, strawberry and tamarind with hints of red oranges. Not your "summer water" type of rose', this one is a complex one.

This beautiful rich Aglianico shows dark cherries and berries, earth and spice. Vibrant acidity and supple tannins on the palate, with mineral and balsamic notes on the finish from time in barrel.

Light red fruits on the nose carrying through to the palate with an herbaceous backbone. Bright acidity and effervescence characteristic of txakoli remains present but softer on the palate. Stands up to richer seafood dishes and chicken, but delightfully quaffable on a warm day.

So they fermented bunches of whole grapes with extra direct pressed juice for a bright and fresh wine to celebrate harvest time! Great chilled on the porch, or with spicy asian noodles!

Dreaming of one day being able to produce Barolo, the Faccenda family purchased this winery in 2003. The vineyards lie just outside of Monforte, the vines are 30/40 years old, the soil of limestone composition. Guidobono’s wines are textbook interpretations of the indigenous grapes of the Langhe. The Nebbiolo is traditional yet approachable, a great pairing with rich foods!
