An elegant wine, made from Gamay grapes grown from two vineyards: the Methven Vineyard in Amity and Rebecca’s Vineyard in the Umpqua Valley. The two sources result in the wine’s depth, complexity, and peppery spice, mated to brilliant raspberry fruit, licorice, and minerals. A rarity from one of Oregon’s most sought- after producers.

Arratzain Sagardo Naturala11.99

Made by Arratzain Sadardotegia, which is about a 10-minute drive from San Sebastian. Tart, fresh, and citrusy, with minerality, light effervescence, and a yeasty character, this Basque cider pairs wonderfully with grilled chorizo. Certified organic.

Domaine Douloufakis Vidiano 'Amphora'34.99Greece, Crete

100% Vidiano fermented and aged on the skins in clay amphorae produced from clay dug from Nikos’ own vineyards. A clean and compelling orange wine! Starts out with a late harvest sweet front palate and then snaps dry. Would be killer with spicy Thai food.

Domaine Douloufakis Liatiko 'Amphora'34.99Greece, Crete

100% Liatiko vinified in amphora from clay from Nikos’ own vineyards. Wow! Liatiko is a Crete ancient local grape, it gives an elegant, transparent red colored, that reminds Nerello Mascalese from Etna. Excellent.

J. Christopher Sauvignon Blanc24.99Willamette Valley

Sauvignon Blanc is a specialty at J. Christopher. Although not widely planted in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Sauvignon Blanc is ideal for the area’s climate, as this wine proves. Made in the clean, fresh style of France’s Loire Valley, this wine is fermented in stainless steel and does not go through malolactic fermentation. The result is a classic, highly aromatic Sauv Blanc

2016 Reverdito19.99Langhe Bianco D.O.C.Nascetta

Michele Reverdito is what they call a “rising star” winemaker in Barolo. His winery is based in La Morra, a hill town that sits high above Barolo. Michele prides himself on using traditional, “old school,” methods to make his wines. These include hand-harvesting and sorting, the use of wild yeasts and recent introduction of clay amphoras for Langhe Nascetta.

Casal Figueira António Branco36.99Lisboa100% Vital

This wine is stunning! Totally natural with no sulfites, additives, yeasts or anything else. It has amazing, piercing acidity that reminds me of great Chablis, but a unique texture that comes from the Lisboa coast. Clean, lemony nose, with a fresh wash of lime, grapefruit and perfumed melon invade the mouth, guided by the acidic, mineral edge.

Domaine Forey Pere et Fils199.99Echezeaux Grand Cru 2015

"Here the discreetly wooded nose is more reserved with its array of ultra-spicy purple fruit aromas. The equally serious broad-shouldered flavors are both bigger and more powerful thanks to the excellent mid-palate density, all wrapped in a markedly firm and lingering finish that is also very clearly built-to-age. This is impressive but it's not an Ech of refinement; indeed as good as it is it's borderline rustic. Still, I was impressed by the potential."-BH

Jean-Marc Burgaud Beaujolais-Villages16.99Les Vignes de Thulon (2017)

A crisp, attractively perfumed wine, this is packed with red-berry flavors and has a light tannic texture. It has a rich side although the attractive fresh acidity brings this wine to life. Burgaud is a talented producer in Beaujolais that works with less whole cluster than some of the more famous producers, but still sticks to wild yeast fermentations.

Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Ovello Riserva 201795.99Barbaresco, Piedmont, Italy100% Nebbiolo

The 2017 Barbaresco Riserva Ovello is a heady, explosive wine. I don't think I have ever tasted an Ovello from the Produttori with this much heft. The strong mineral and saline accents typical of this site are present, but they are matched pound for pound by notable mid-palate richness and intensity in its fruit. The 2017 is a brooding powerhouse that needs time to unwind.

2017 Marco Sara Nostrano Rosso20.99Friuli100% Refosco Nostrano

This wine is vinified with 8 days skin maceration in cement fermenter before being pressed, racked and aged in cement for a year. This new cuvee is both a true representation of Marco's attention to detail and terroir, but also allows him to make a wine that's more fun, wild, approachable and - most of all - affordable!

This wine is racy, vivid, and excellent with all kinds of seafood dishes. Vines are planted in limestone and chalk at high elevation and grapes are hand-harvested. The wine is fermented and matured entirely in stainless steel and does not undergo malolactic fermentation. Use it like you might use a Sauvignon Blanc!

2021 Camp MerlotSonoma CountyMerlot

Camp is a great brand that focuses on organic vineyards and produces wines that are free from nasty additives or manipulations. Instead, this is fermented with natural wild yeast and is made with minimal sulfur. It's fresh, easy drinking and pure. Unlike many CA Merlot, this isn't overly ripe and doesn't have any of that ultra fake vanilla flavor.

Fuori off Road Strada Sangiovese14.99Tuscany, Italy100% Sangiovese

This wine expresses the classic qualities of Italian Sangiovese – intense ruby red with hints of purple; aromas of cherry and red plums, and spice; on the palate it’s fresh and fruity, medium-bodied and well balanced, with a juicy acidity and a long finish. Organic, delicious...perfect for backpacking, camping...your next picnic.

2014 Sur de Los Andes12.99Mendoza, Argentina100% Malbec

Dark, woody berry, mocha and herbal aromas are potent and fiery. This has a layered mouthfeel with raw tannins. Rich, oaky blackberry and cassis flavors finish with notes of prune, coffee and lingering spice.

2016 Joan d'Anguera Planella24.99Montsant85% Carinyena, 15% Syrah

Finca la Planella is a 7ha north-facing vineyard planted with 15-50 year old Carinyena, Syrah and Garnatxa on clay limestone soils. For Planella, they select older vine Carinyena and blend it with 15% younger vine Syrah. Domaine Vincent Ricard "Le Bouc"15.99Touraine Sauvignon Blanc

Sancerre is a more famous region than Touraine, but it's not necessarily better. In fact, the wineries in Touraine are often more inclined to take risks like Organic farming and hand harvesting. Such is the case with Domaine Vincent who does small, hand harvested, expressions of Sauvignon Blanc that easily rival Sancerre at twice the price.
