A juicy and fruity wine with orange peel, ripe-fruit and hints of flowers. Medium body and a delicate style.

Ancient, head-pruned vines of Garnacha planted in granitic sands make for a deliciously transparent wine. Granito del Caldalso is made under the guidance of famed winemakers Dani Landi and Fernando Garcia. "The 2021 Granito del Cadalso shows quite fresh with some citrus notes (orange peel, tangerine) and a faint touch of smoke. It's juicy, fluid, approachable, and quite elegant wine. 2,500 bottles produced."

The Watson Ranch is set at the bottom of the Napa Valley, overlooking San Pablo Bay. The vineyard is perfect sited to bring out the rich fullness of California Chardonnay. Rich and intense, the wine is all about apricots, toasted hazelnuts, fresh cream, and vanilla.

This delicious Gamay comes from two of the best winemakers in America: Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Roberts. Morin is located in Chitry, near Chablis. This wine, which is made with natural yeasts and very little so2, gains complexity from the kimmerigian soil of the region. It's fermented in tank to preserve its freshness and purity. 2015 was an odd year for white wine in Burgundy, but Morin pulled it off here with a great balance of percision and texture.

A pretty nose of red cherries, strawberries and rosemary. Medium-bodied with integrated tannins. Fruity and easy-going on the palate with simple red fruit coming through. Drink now.

The Ardoises cuvée is the Château’s “second” wine. Just as much care is put into its production but following vinification it is aged in Bordeaux-style oak barriques for 12 months. It is more instantly accessible than the former wine, mellow and supple, with lots of fruitiness and a long delicately oaky finish. It is a wonderful bottle to savour, uninhibited, over a good meal.

Across the board, Lamy’s are grandly sculpted wines with eye-opening rigor. Their track-record for aging owes a lot to the density and firm, mineral backbones. This wine comes from a high altitude, low yielding vineyard that produces wines with a steely and stony minerality and a layer of high-toned richness. The 2020 is an especially intense version of the wine. The resulting wines show a fascinating combination of concentration and presence with cool fruit tones, verve and crystal clear minerality.

Discover Priorat's exceptional terroir through this affordable and honest blend from the Perez family. A lively wine, this has great fruit quality that makes it fresh and easy to drink. However, it's a complex wine too with a creamy feel, subtle mineral tones and a earthy background element that drys out the finish. Definitely recommended!

A rip-roaring bouquet with succulent ripe red cherries, bergamot and violet aromas that just soar from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fresh acidity, nimble on its toes with fleshy dark cherry fruit laced with bay leaf and white pepper, leading to a precise and quite sustained finish. There is a bit of bravura to this 2015 and it comes recommended.
