This is the most flashy and powerful wine in the lineup from François. It is aged in a mixture of stainless steel and large vertical oak tanks which seem to turn this potential monster into a charming and upfront wine. It is stockpiled with rich, gritty texture and a mouthful of stoniness with a nose that has great focus.

Far from your typical Chilean wine, this aromatic white blend is made from old vines of Moscatel, Riesling and Chasselas. The wine is dry and lean yet has honeyed fruit on the palate, chappy minerality and a slight tannic grip. While not really an orange wine, the wine macerates on the skin for two days. Fermented with native yeast and aged in neutral barrel.

The Rosé De Cuvaison (Pinot Noir) emerges from the glass with high-toned notes of Mirabelle plums, kirsch, crushed flowers and sweet herbs. There is an exotic quality that is totally beguiling. Intensely aromatic and layered through to the finish.

Ceras is Botanica’s counterpoint. Its color is more purple than red. It is more about minerals and herbs than fruit and flowers. It is a focused and elegant distillation of rock rather than an opulent cascade of fruit. It is an expression of the geology that lays beneath our land, the tart blue fruits of the coast range and the tender herbs that one finds amongst the trees and mushrooms of the Northwest forest.

Loaded with rich, jammy fruit, this plump Zin is a pleasure to drink, with bold accents of wild berry, spicy cinnamon and licorice that glide dynamically toward plush tannins. Drink now through 2025.

An Unfiltered Cider made with freshly pressed New York McIntosh apples. The aromatic McIntosh with its distinct white flesh and vinous flavor is coveted for fresh eating and cider production. This cider is rich and complex, reflecting the balanced sweetness and acidity of this historic apple.

Taittinger's prestigious Comtes de Champagne is composed entirely of Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru villages. nobly intense yet nuanced bouquet of ripe fruits, chalk, iodine and a touch of brioche. The wine indicates a coolish and precise character on the clear, flinty nose that develops lemon, pastry and floral notes. Clear, fresh, lush and elegant!

This comes from Provence and is really unique for a sparkling wine. Aromatically, it resembles a still rose rather than Champagne or Cremant wine. The fruit is really pure and fun. If you're a fan of actual Provencal rose this is a really cool version of it!

Quinto do Mouro is one of Portugal's finest estates, and this is their second label. A classic example of rusticity and power combined. A hint of graphite and lead on the nose accompanied by tobacco, plum and blackcurrant on the palate. Some prune and peppery undertones with a developed herbal character and notes of Earl Grey tea. Bright acidity on a dry finish.

An elegant Champagne, powered by a sculpted frame of acidity and minerality, this wears the refined, lacy mousse and well-meshed flavors of black currant, lemon curd, toast and marzipan like finely tailored clothing. Fresh and lasting, with hints of spice and smoke on the finish.

Cabasse is a small estate that combines the best of traditional methods and new school thinking. This Gigondas for instance showcases both the gutty and graceful sides of the appellation, delivering a potpourri of white pepper, dark fruit, lavendar and rosemary. Only 800 cases made.

A full bodied style Barbera that works well with a wide variety of foods. The vineyards used to make this wine come to harmony from historic sites in Serralunga d’Alba, Sinio, Santa Vittoria d’Alba and Canale. A great little value.

There's too much to say about this wine but I'll start with noting that it's not only California's Greatest and most Historic Cabernet, but one of the finest and most collected in the world. It's also a wine that's immune to misguided trends and fads, with it stylistically remaining consistent over the last four decades. This is a iconic wine and vital to any serious collector.
