Harvested from individually hand selected berries, which are picked over ripe and dried almost to raisins. Rich, sweet, luscious, honey-like wine. Extremely rare with elegance and finesse. Noble in aroma and fragrance, a full bodied dessert wine.

Cream is a type of sweet sherry first made in the 1860s by blending different sherries, usually including Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez. Incredible, decadent notes of vanilla and spices mingling with wood antique varnishes. Palate is smooth with a medium sweet finish. Oloroso is blended with sweet Moscatel and aged in solera for 7 years. Best served at European room temp.

Amontillado is a variety of sherry wine characterized by being darker than fino but lighter than oloroso. La Garrocha has spent nine years aging through the Solera system. The microclimate of the bodega produces a distinct flor that gives this sherry its unique characteristics. Very floral with sweet nut aromas. The palate is delicate and rich.

Monplaisir, which consists of two parcels: one planted on silt below Château d’Issan, the other planted on gravel and clay below Château Margaux. This pleasing cuvée is aged primarily in tank, with only 10% aging in cask. aromas of noble wood and sweet spices a boquet focused on berries and plum with sensations of graphite. The body is fresh, elegant, balanced, light tannin.

Alive and approachable, this Pet Nat of Valdiguié tastes of watermelon and strawberries. At Broc Cellars, all of our wines are made using spontaneous fermentation, a process that means we only use native yeasts and bacteria that exist on the grapes in order to make wine.

It expresses a very beautiful maturity despite a year not so bright. The note and palate are correlated to the nature of the soil in Mercurey Les Montots: Clay-limestone with iron presence. This gives to the wine a racy, chiselled nose with chalky notes of cooked red fruits. On the palate,the wine is astonishingly supple and silky on first approach whilst the tannins are more presentson the finish lengthening the tasting and leave a powerful impression. A great wine with ageing potential.

When the wine is young, use it as you would other Ligurian whites – that is, as an aperitivo and with fish and lighter vegetable dishes, including pesto). As the wine ages, it will stand up to stronger dishes (game birds?) and aged cheeses and becomes a candidate for a vino da meditazione.
