Cannonau is Sardegna’s version of the Spanish Garnacha and the island’s most widely-planted grape. (Old-timers sometimes spelled it “Canonau”, and that’s what’s on the vintage label.) Cardedu’s vineyards for this wine are in the growing zone of Jerzu, which is historically among the most prized terroirs on the entire island for Cannonau.

Local varieties, estate fruit from producers we already import, no wood, grown and made by real people rather than in tank farms. Keeping true to vini quotidiani, we chose deliciousness, even a rustic character sometimes, over complexity and polish.

The Frascole estate overlooks the town of Dicomano, gently sloping hills and small valleys. The estate property goes from an altitude of 350 m. at the Pieve di S. Jacopo to the 470 m. at the Castello del Pozzo and then gently continue uphill to meet the Apennines.

Medium garnet, red fruit aromas of cherry, strawberry and jam, with touches of vanilla, black cherry and black raspberry flavors. Nicely balanced , medium weight on the palate with soft, supple tannins in the finish.

Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat wines have been amongst the best in Burgundy for generations – always full of charm and exuberance, but with considerable depths, purity and finesse. Bottled just before the harvest, a blend of 18 parcels all in front of Chambolle-Musigny, actually represents one-third of the total production of the domaine.

This wine is an exceptional representation of why Lodi has become world known for its Old Vine Zinfandel. Twice this wine has been chosen as one of the Zins of Lodi! This 2015 vintage offers deep spice, with jammy berry flavors and a fantastic smooth finish..especially for a Zin. It is very well balanced and while a classic Old Vine ZInfandel, it doesn't kill the taste buds.

Abounding aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, kiwi, and melon with hints of white flowers and fresh cut green grass. Slow, cold fermentations retain the natural complexities of our Rutherford fruit, while developing a balanced mouthfeel that finishes with the crisp acid of a classic dry white wine that leaves you wanting more.

Apple and pear notes flourish in the incredible aromas and first sips of this wine. The rich, round entry is full of fruit, including touches of tropical pineapple and guava. The elegant and creamy mouthfeel wraps around the fruit and leads to spicy notes of nutmeg and toasty vanilla, left behind by over 8 months of aging in American oak.

Nectarine, stone fruit and fuzzy navel explode aromatically. Bright tropical nuances like freshly cut pineapple and lemon meringue. It has a welcoming acidity and creamy mid-palate with layered papaya and clementine. Balanced acid, rounded by ripe banana and peach flesh lingers on the finish.
