Pinot Noir delivers bright acidity and soft, subtle aromas of crabapple, watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, and wet stone. The grape can produce earthy-but-elegant wines that are cool, crisp, and dry, and would be delightful with a fresh goat cheese salad or a festive crab feed on the beach.

The aromas evoke notes of honey, maple and fully ripe, almost dried
apricots with a slight hint of dried autumn leaves. In the mouth there is a
mélange of flavors giving one the impression of apricots and cream. Great acidity which keeps it from being cloying.

The average age of the vines from which it was made is 110 years. Remarkable! Organic & bottled with no fining or filtration. The 1989 offers a perfumed, penetrating bouquet of black-cherries, herbs, flowers, and minerals. Explosively rich, this full-bodied, super-concentrated wine is, along with the 1990, the finest example of Cahors I have tasted.

Every year Lucien produces a small amount of Bourgogne Rouge blending excellent fruit from the Cote de Beaune, Cote de Nuits and Chalonnaise to reflect the spirit of the vintage as a whole. These wine are raised in the same manner as the Premier and Grand Crus, for around 24 mos in barrel, never racked or filtered, little sulfur, and bottled by hand. Only 500 bottles in the US

Opening with aromatics of exotic blossoms and fresh red fruits. The palate shines with a refreshing and stimulating body of rose and violet cream, red and purple fruits, and glittering spice threads. Vibrant acidity pairs with supple, ultra fine tannin bringing wonderful freshness, still rich flavor and the structure to age. Delicious.

Fermented 100% whole cluster for 10 days. Gravity racked as free run juice to barrel, using only gravity. Pushed with Argon
to tank for a 100% gravity bottling on in-house line. Never racked off the the lees. No fining, no filtration.

The nose has excellent aroma intensity and concentration, with fresh wild berry fruit notes and delicate hints of chocolate. An engaging palate leads to a wine of great volume, with a tight-knit structure of firm, finely-textured tannins nicely wrapped in fresh wild berry fruit notes. The finish is balanced, fresh and lingering.

A classic Washington State Merlot, from the black plum, roasted earth, and layers of black fruit, on to the velvety palate. The aromas are bright, with notes of herb, tire rubber and red currant. The oak influence is dialed back, and the fruit flavors are lighter in style, direct and pure, going down easy with blue-fruit flavors on the finish. This is a pleasant, easy drinker.

Dark and ruby color, the wine opens to reveal expressive aromas of juicy blackberry, boysenberry, and bramble, along with notes of toasty vanilla and graham cracker. The full flavors are highlighted by a plush, velvety mouthfeel with a long finish. This California wine owes much of its complexity to its varied upbringing, featuring grapes harvested from Monterey, Santa Barbara and Sonoma Counties.

From vineyards near the village of Tonnerre to the north and east of Chablis. Clay and limestone soil. Average vine age 30 yrs old. Grapes are hand harvested, crushed, and left to macerate on the skins for a few hours only in order to take on a bit of color and fresh red fruit aromas. The wine's frisky acidity and crisp finish pair it well with raw oysters & shellfish.

A rarity in this part of France-40 year old certified organic cabernet sauvignon (yes, I said cabernet sauvignon) from a region dominated by cabernet franc. An expression of cabernet sauvignon with an unmistakable Loire Valley flair. Dense and peppery with tons of dark fruit.
