Tyee Wine Cellars specializes in Dry Gewürztraminer. Delicious with honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossom and holiday spice. Made from dry-farmed, own-rooted, 25 plus year old vines from Tyee Estate Vineyard and younger grafted estate vines. Only 200 cases produced.

Light, bright pink, with a frothy mousse Spicy redcurrant, blood orange and rhubarb on the nose. Juicy, expansive red berry preserve flavors are given a dry edge by a slow-building talc-y note. Manages to be both sweet and nervy, and finishes with very good thrust and lingering raspberry and strawberry notes. This would be great with stinky washed-rind or blue cheeses.

The tiny French town of Cerdon is very close to the Swiss border in a little-known VDQS called Bugey. The wine is sparkling rosé, but not just any sparkling rosé. Made from gamay and the local poulsard, it is a delicately sweet, low-alcohol, strawberry colored wine that is yummy with chocolate-based desserts but also ideal as an early evening aperitif. Treat yourself!

Rose gold in colour, with alpine strawberries, cherries and plums on the nose, and a lovely background of exotic spices. Spook Light has a delightful cleansing astringency on the palate with great intensity, opulence and length. This wine is perfectly suited to matching with charcuterie and tapas.

Jerome Chezeaux farms a total of 11.2 hectares of vineyards, of which 6.6 are estate owned. The fruit is 100% destemmed. Chezeaux favors fairly lengthy macerations. New oak levels are on the low side. This wine consistently reflects, in simple form, the classic characteristics of the wines from the area around Nuits Saint Georges: red and black fruits, bright but not too dense.

Loads of fruit show on the nose of this wine: green and red apple, strawberry and ample, zesty citrus. The palate is taut, fresh, dry and precise, shot through with appetizing fruity flavors. A wonderful, flavorsome rosé, with or without food.
