Lot 444 explodes with bright cherry & acacia flower & quickly opens up to reveal a core of spicy cherry pie, blackberry jam, & toasty oak, with top notes of graphite & wet stone. Soft and simple in red fruit, dried herb, spicy clove and milk chocolate, this is a generously full-bodied, ripe and lush wine. The tannins are gregariously ingrained and demanding of attention.

The predominating aromas are complex: red and white fruit associated with floral notes. With time, these fruity aromas will evolve toward more mellow notes with a touch of spice and stone fruits, and the color will take on amber tints. As of its first year, it disposes of all the necessary aromas to be appreciated, but it also has an exceptional ageing potential.

This deep garnet Kosher blend of 55% Rubin and 45% Merlot is scented with black plum, blackberry and freshly ground black pepper. It flavors are those of dried cranberries and tart cherry. It has balanced tannins with a pleasantly tart finish.

This Pinot Noir has a highly concentrated, dark ruby core with pink and garnet reflections on the rim. The nose expresses classic notes of young Burgundy including aromatics of freshly picked red cherry, red and black plum, wet violets, forest floor, steeped black tea, leather, wet cellar, damp clay and subtle baking spices in the distance.

The 2012 Montefalco Rosso opens with rich and brilliant ruby red color in the glass. Sensationally intense, with notes of ripe red fruit and delicate hints of vanilla. Full bodied, rich, dry with a long finish. This is very aromatic with dried-berry, mineral and floral character. Full body with firm tannins and a juicy finish. Lots of tannins but polished and chewy.

Lieu Dit is a collaboration between Eric Railsback & Justin Willett. Their primary focus is grape varieties from the Loire Valley grown in Santa Barbara County. They feel the climate & terroir of the area is well-suited to these grapes. Fresh, crisp, & intense. Loads of citrus & crushed rock, w/ excellent tension & acidity. Pair w/ raw oysters & fresh lemon or steamed clams.

From Montalcino comes an instense ruby red blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Syrah and 10% Colorino. It has a strong vein of bright fruit running through the bouquet and palate. You’ll notice the dark fruits, tobacco,and leather notes throughout. The finish is clean, yet persistent. Pair with Filet Mignon, your favorite red sauce, or strong cheeses.

The wine come from 21 year old Grenache vines from the south west region of France, near the Mediterranean. Rose peony color with great aromatics of red-fruit richness. A crisp, fruity wine. Minimal sulfur used.

Dark red with purple hues. The perfumed nose offers abundant dark fruits with hints of cut flowers and anise. The palate is fullbodied with plush blackberry and cherry framed by smooth tannins and a lingering finish .

Sourced from old, Guyot-trained vines averaging 35+ years in age. Direct pressed, with no maceration. Underwent partial (60%) malolactic conversion. Matured 2 months on the fine lees. A light-bodied wine, intensely crisp and vividly fresh, it offers complex aromas of strawberries and red currants, with a hint of quince.
