The robust, rounded palate is relatively dry, resonating w/almost Bourbon-like leather, tobacco, tea & oak, finishing in long, mouthwatering notes of orange peel & spice, a hint of peat.

Indigenous to Sicily, Perricone is thought to be related to Pignatello and Nebbiolo. Sachia is a rich, layered wine with notes of rhubarb pie, fresh violets, rose petals, red plums and ripe red cherries, crushed herbs, licorice, cocoa, and tar. Full malolactic fermentation. Sachia is fresh yet complex. Excellent with pizza, grilled meats and charcuterie.

Winemaker Bennett is a pioneering viticulturist who has introduced several wine grapes to Colorado, including some Portuguese and Spanish varietals. He began his career in the wine industry by helping to plant many of the West Slope vineyards before shifting to winemaking in the mid-1980s.

Winery philosophy states that "every day" wines still must taste great AND be affordable. This is essentially a screaming deal for Gavi that cannot be labeled as such since it falls outside of the classic zone. Gotta love the Italian wine laws...

Quincy was the second recognized appellation in France in 1936, second to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Grapes had long been planted here w/ Sauvignon Blanc having been introduced by Cistercian monks in the 12th century. Distinctive flavor profile born from warmer soils, it tastes of ripe, succulent citrus devoid of grassiness, while boasting the same flinty nerve as a good Sancerre.

Régis’ vineyards sit at 750 feet, surrounded by hills far east of the Loire River, & centered proudly on the prized limestone & clay of the Kimmeridgian chain. The scattered flint in these vineyards imbues wines with a character quite distinctive from the neighboring village of Sancerre. You couldn’t ask for a cleaner, fresher, flintier, or truer expression of Sauvignon Blanc.

Bright brown brick red color. Toasty, fruity aromas and flavors of cherry - berry, dried leaves, planked oak - menthol, and pink peppercorns with a slightly chewy, lively, dry full body and a peppery, complex, breezy finish with leafy, woody tannins and moderate oak. Pairs well with Duck Confit, Ham with Cherry Glaze, and Souvlaki.

From 65 year old gamay vines, this wine jumps out of the glass with bright notes of fresh cherry and currants. As pure as wine gets-vinified without sulfur, unfiltered and aged for eight months in used foudre.
