Crossword is a delightful red blend from the 2014 vintage sourced from a selection of overlapping wine regions that thrive near the historic Wholer Bridge that spans the Russian River in Sonoma County. Vineyard sources are: Larrick Vineyard Cabernet, Molinary Vineyard Merlot- both in Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Pinot Noir.

Presents a deep violet color and offers intense aromas, a soft texture, and concentrated flavor. Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of sweet spice, and leather.

This Furmint comes from Nagy Eged hill as a special gift from a very good year. It was fermented and aged in 225 liters and 500 liters barrels on lees for 8 months. The colour of the wine is glit. The start of the aroma is discrete and elegant. A complex wine, exhibiting pear and apricot flavors with limestone and flint overtones.

Partly fermented in a temperature-controlled stainless-steel vat, ensuring a good expression of the varietal aromas, another part is barrelled directly so that alcoholic fermentation takes place in barrels. Once alcoholic fermentation is complete the fermentation lees are stirred back into suspension weekly to give the wine more richness on the palate.

Oak-filled and smoky aromatics layer with flavors of caramelized sugar, deep coffee notes and hints of arise. Dried apple and nuances of tanned round out a long finish supported by fine tannis. Elegant and stylish with bright, tangy plum and smoky herbs; supple and complex, long and balanced.

Winemaker Jordan Salcito describes her Caldera Falanghina as, "one of the most charming and accessible wines. It's aromatic, bright, and easy to enjoy." This wine pairs notes of green apple, orange blossom and meyer lemon with gorgeous limestone minerality. The grapes used to make this wine are organic and a portion of the proceeds are donated to Earthjustice.
