The nose is floral, elegant and subtle, a little closed at first, becoming deeper and more nuanced with time in the glass. The palate shows great freshness with a thread of fine acidity going through its backbone. It has character, notes of the earth and also those violets only the best Cariñena can provide.

A perfect blend of Red Car's most notable, cool-climate vineyards in Fort Ross, Freestone and Occidental. Naturally low in alcohol and high in acidity, a mix of heritage and Dijon clones that were hand-sorted, then fermented with a native yeast in small open tops and aged in French oak barrels (10% new). The wine offers notes of rose petals, orange rinds, and raspberry.

Yves Gangloff is an unlikely winemaker who settled in the Rhône region only because he fell in love with Mathilde, a local woman who's now his wife. The couple sold their grapes to E. Guigal before establishing their own vineyard in 1987. Gangloff draws his wine-making experience from the time he spent at the Domaine Delas. A wine similar to but more savoury than his Condrieu.

Offers a complex nose of citrus fruit, white flowers and vanilla. Remarkably clean on the palate, it leaves an impression of superb balance and elegance. A delightful wine with a finish combining oak and floral touches.

A staggering and complex array of aromas leap from the glass – mango, nectarine, peach marmalade and roasted pineapple all underplayed with rose petals, quince, white peach and pear and a crushed granite like minerality. As bountiful as the best from Condrieu, yet as precise as a Chateauneuf du Pape blanc.

This Brut is the combination of three different qualities of grapes, all grown in the same locality and intended, from the vineyard to the productionsparkling wine. Brilliant with effervescence persistent smell proves to have delicate scents of wildflowers, the purpose of intensity and persistent. In the mouth it is structured & elegant.

Aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry, red plum, earth and light vanilla will be found on the nose. This Pinot Noir has a lively acidity and combines flavors of cherry, strawberry, red currant, tea leaf and vanilla on the palate.

With a palate-drenching fountain of peach nectar, grapefruit and orange blossom notes, this Finger Lakes standard packs a surprising punch in the 2014 vintage. Dry, yet intensely ripe, it boasts long, lingering streaks of honey and fruit offset by zigzagging daggers of lime zest and lemon. It's penetrating and deliciously persistent.

Musky aromas of black cherry, brown spices and smoky soil tones; more aromatic today than the Chambolle villages. Sweet and harmonious but also juicy and firmly built, showing more flavor definition than the Chambolle.

This well-crafted blend is principally Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris, with a dash of Muscat. It's aromatically inviting, an explosion of citrus fruit and blossom. What follows is a tasty jumble of Meyer lemon, nectarine and pineapple, full, fruity and just plain fun.

The 2015 Morgon has a fresh bouquet with attractive red cherry and raspberry fruit, a little leafiness here, cold stone coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, nicely focused, less fruit-driven than many other Morgon 2015s but it compensates with superb delineation and more terroir expression.

What a neat cidery, and probably my favorite product from them so far; seemingly spontaneously fermented organic pear juice and nothing else??? Sign me up! Lots of character, and very clean too. It’s a tad on the subtle side, and it’s probably sec to demi-sec (I might like it more in the brut direction), but it’s hard not to smile every time I take a sniff and sip.

Clear, deep gold with persistent thin head. Piney with slight dankness, very light garlic nose. Bready malts, fairly bitter with a slightly green, dank finish.
