Deep color, firm tannins and a fine-grained texture set this wine apart. It smells fresh and sophisticated, with bright cranberry and rich black-cherry notes shaded by cinnamon and nutmeg. This should stand up to the richest rack of lamb and age well, too. It's tempting to drink now, but should improve through at least 2018.

2015 Chancewater19.99Lake County, California100% Sauvignon Blanc

This eye-opening wine has a really tangy, herbal aroma. Vivid and bright citrus like lemon and grapefruit are shaped lightly by a crisp yet smooth texture and subtle hints of vanilla and almond. it's difficult to imagine a more vibrant example.

2011 Wedell Cellars49.99Santa Maria Valley, California100% Chardonnay

The wine has a beautiful Old World minerality to it that is nearly impossible to describe in words, and even though it has undergone 100% malolactic fermentation there is no hint of butter. Finally, whilst it has been aged for a considerable amount of time in new French Oak Barrels, the oak is complimentary but not overpowering. This is rich yet retains great balance.

A big, explosive wine, it hits the palate with serious intensity and pure power. Rich, deep and authoritative in personality, it speaks with real presence. Prairie BOMB!8.99Tulsa, OKImperial Stout w/coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and ancho chili peppers

Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, caramel malt, and then chili at the finish. The cocoa especially really carries through the entire taste experience from beginning to end. The chili is designed to mesh nicely with the alcohol heat as you just can't pick it up without the spice. Seriously, there is almost no indication this is an alcoholic beverage - until you get through half of it.

Stone Arrogant Bastard4.99Escondido, CAAmerican Strong Ale

You probably won't like it.

?Apoth? Sahalie38.99Bend, ORAmerican Wild Ale

This just absolutely explodes with flavor the second it hits your tongue. Tons of white wine, light pear and stonefruit, oak and a little bit of kiwi on the way out. Leaves this lingering warmness that's really the only trace of the abv with a great chardonnay and slight spicy oak note. Damn impressive beer.

Paradox Pineapple Upside-down Sour12.99Divide, COAmerican Wild Ale

The aroma of a freshly baked pineapple upside-down cake is a powerful force that often draws the entire family to the kitchen. To pay tribute to this classic gooey goodness, we've blended molasses-rich Muscovado sugar and caramelized crushed pineapple into our mixed-fermentation, Nicaraguan rum barrel-aged golden ale. Feel at home, right where you are.

Almanac Vanilla Cherry Dogpatch10.49San Francisco, CAAmerican Wild Ale

Quite sour with the cherry coming in second and the vanilla a distant third. Mainly just big sour cherry that's not very sweet. The vanilla eventually comes in on the back end to provide some complementary sweetness. The cherry also starts to linger on the palate and both bring more character to the table than just straight lactic acid tartness.
