Between blackcurrant and tapenade, Terre d'Argile offers concentrated flavors, reminiscences of its famous neighbor. Dense and meaty, the mouth reveals deep and sweet ripe fruits on a persistent finish.

Barros is not well known outside Portugal, but this wine suggests it should be. Delicate and perfumed, this has a fine balance that leaves a fresh, fruity aftertaste. There is structure, sweetness and ripeness.

The grapes were harvested at night on September 5th, another early harvest in California. The grapes were placed whole cluster into 5 ton wooden vats for fermentation and foot tread lightly in the morning with a gentle pumpover at night. Then gently pressed into a larger stainless steel tank overnight, and racked to older barriques to age for 8 months.

Between Mâcon to the south, Tournus to the north and Cluny in the west, the noble and very Burgundian Chardonnay reigns as absolute master on these limestone soils that suit it so well. A bright golden color, this Mâcon-Villages reveals elegant, fresh aromas dominated by white blossom with a scent of honey and lime blossom on the finish.

Theis wine is tight and nervy, very fresh, crisp and citrus dominated. It delivers a cool feel and delicious acidity that brings out a light character, as well as a bone-dry, mineral aftertaste.

Concentrated berry aromas are basic but full and pleasing, with a hint of pastry popping up. A snappy, crisp, drying palate houses lightly herbal plum and currant flavors, while the finish is juicy and tastes a bit herbal and spicy.

Dark ruby red to purple color. Aromas of ripe plum, leather and vanilla. Wine has a juicy plum and bing cherry fruit flavors with dusty earth undertones. Wine is soft and round on the entry with a cocoa spiced finish along with firmer Tempranillo tannins.

Vibrant, mineral-laced redcurrant and blood orange scents, with a hint of jasmine emerging with aeration. Bright and minerally on the palate, offering nervy, deep red berry and floral pastille flavor. This silky, seamless, pure rosé finishes with excellent delineation and persistence.

Strong sense of pepper and spice but expressive and charming wine. Acidulous red fruits nose. (Strawberry, currant and sweet spices). Bold on the palate with a nice freshness finish.

From Cigliuti's Bricco de Neive vineyard, relatively young vines on a sandy soil. Here the flavors are intense, alive and wonderfully nuanced. Dark red and black stone fruits, leather, smoke and savory herbs form an attractive tapestry of nuances in an attractive, cellar worthy Barbaresco endowed with a cool sense of tension and energy that will delight classicists

Coming all from Mourvedre, and one of the best roses out there, the 2014 Languedoc Saint Drezery Tete de Belier Rose sports a light pink color to go with terrific notes of peach, strawberry and orange blossom. Medium-bodied, layered and elegant, with a full-mid-palate, integrated acidity and a great finish, drink this brilliant rose (preferably with food) over the coming year

The bouquet on the 2014 is red fruity and excellent, offering up scents of cherries, pomegranate, a bit of bonfire, fresh thyme, lovely soil tones and a hint of cedar. On the palate the wine is really lovely, with a full-bodied format, a succulent core, lovely soil inflection and a long, gently tannic and tangy finish.

This little vineyard is located at Hyères in the French Riviera, on the slopes of the Valley of Sauvebonne, adjacent to the Forêt des Maures. The Cuvée Jeanne has a salmon-pink color it is a subtle wine. At first taste, one will observe its clear and limpid dress; this dry wine is fruity, long in mouth and delicate at the end.
