Direct press keeps the color light. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by aging in neutral old French oak for 11 months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and with minimal to no s02 at bottling.

Radikon, the polemic producer of Oslavia, an Italian town in Friuli on the border of Slovenia, submits his wines to an extended maceration and ages them in large oak barrels before release. Slatnik, a blend of Tocai and Chardonnay demonstrates assertive oxydative notes of light caramel, seaside brine and late harvested peaches.

This cuvée comes from the estate's youngest Gamay vines, averaging 30-40 years of age. These parcels feature more granitic soils. Vinification is very traditional semi-carbonic, and this sees 10 days maceration. Aging is in large oak foudres for 9 months. Pair with pâté en croute. Light, Bright and Crushable!
