Pelaverga Piccolo of Verduno is a native grape variety of ancient cultivation. Considered to be one of the smallest DOCs in Italy with notes of spicy and fruits. These grapes are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, allowing the pure flavors and alluring texture to take center stage.

After a whole-bunch press and some limited skin maceration this rose-tinted beauty set off on its fermentation journey and before we knew it -- this puppy was born. It’s a one man band of fresh strawberry and cherry notes that come together to produce a sweet summer song.

Sourced from the high elevation Hawks’ Nest Vineyard that faces Sleeping Ute Mountain in the Montezuma Valley. The Wetherill Loam soils have been preferred for dry farming for thousands of years (the vineyard is across from Mesa Verde National Park). The juice is aromatic, light, and refreshing, with notes of strawberry, cannabis, and forest floor.

Carbonic fermentation hones the freshness in this Pinot full of vibrant layers. The aromatic profile is a fruit and mineral-driven mix of ripe red strawberries and pure Pinot fruit. The incredible structural balance of tannins, forest floor funk, and nervy acidity makes this a wine of some seriousness and complexity.

The Matengoli brothers are two of the most dedicated farmers in Montalcino and the 8.5 hectare estate is farmed using both organic and biodynamic principles. Grown on 8.5 Ha of vineyards located in the north-west side of Montalcino from a selection of older plots. The wine is fermented on the skins for 18 days, followed by 2 years of aging in 20 hl. barrels 20 % new.

Gaetana Jacono is the energetic leader of the current generation for this iconic Sicilian estate. She has continued the domains devotion to native varieties, organic farming and traditional wine making while adding new ideas that respect the past. This Frappato is aged for 9 months in both steel and bottle before release.

This is the second release of Litrona with our favorite Verdejo master, MicroBio. Grapes are 150+ years old, organically grown, hand harvested, fermented in clay amphora and aged in stainless steel tanks for about 3 months to preserve its young and fresh profile. Bottled unfiltered without sulphites, unfined and unfiltered. Light-boded, and meant to drank fast!

Domaine Ozil is an organic/biodynamic producer out of the Ardèche, which lies on the western banks of the Rhône near the Northern Rhône Valley. 100% Whole-Cluster fermentation, free-run juice is pressed off daily and then the wine rests for 5 months in neutral oak before bottling. Bright raspberry and strawberry, black pepper and marjoram. Juicy with a serious edge.
