Regnard is a south-facing site in the southern sector of Gevrey-Chambertin, and the Ligniers are in contract to access a parcel of Pinot Noir here between 40 and 70 years of age. This is a fresh, silken wine with intense minerality and marked tension—a wonderful counterpoint to the more somber “Les Seuvrées”—and its modest 20% new oak is all but invisible.

The estate owns a prime 0.71ha parcel of 70-year vines that cuts across the “Les Drazey” and “Les Bussieres” vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, just below the 1er Cru “Les Sentiers”. The finesse of this wine speaks of the Chambolle pedigree, though its ideal location and ancient vines produce a depth that elevates it to a level beyond what one would expect from a Villages.

From a .75 hectares parcel in Meursault les Meix Chavaux, bordering Auxey-Duresses. Three equal parts were planted in 2001, 1988 and 1935. Given the location near Auxey Duresses, vineyards are cooler and thus allowed to ripen longer on the vine. As a result, it gives the wine good focus, minerality and tension. Classic Meursault aromas of ripe apples, honey, and hazelnuts.

A saturated magenta color, the 2021 Chianti Classico is flush with ripe aromas of fresh plum, violets, mocha, and a light menthol flourish. Juicy and full-bodied, it is approachable and lush, with a velvety texture, sweet tannins, and a relatively long finish.

The oldest vines date back to the 1930s giving this village wine plenty of personality. Sourced from two plots north of Chambolle village where soils are rich in iron. The wine has wild floral aromas, light mineral notes with silk-like melted tannins. The purity of fruit on the palate is fantastic with great mid-palate weight and expansive breadth. Excellent village-level wine!

The “Grand Chaliot” lieu-dit is situated just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Given its proximity to Nuits-Saint-Georges, this wine possesses a seriousness and mineral depth rare for a Bourgogne, particularly impressive in its amplitude and intensity. A mere 10% new oak allows the energetic and spice-tinged flavors to shine through unimpeded.

From the sauvignon grape whose vines are planted on the Sancerre hillside, a terroir composed exclusively of Silex. Vinification is carried out in temperature controlled inox tanks. Dry and fruity, it shows mineral typicity, and its particular "gun flint" taste over several years.
